The English-language pages of brandenburg-tourism.com now feature accessible travel destinations in Brandenburg. These can be found at www.accessible-brandenburg.com. This new resource aims to support travelers with disabilities by providing relevant information in English as well.

Among the destinations highlighted are places such as Neuzelle Monastery (follow in the footsteps of the monks), the charming town of Rheinsberg with its castle and park, and Brandenburg’s capital Potsdam—with attractions like the Biosphere, the Blu sports and leisure pool, and of course, its famous palaces and gardens.

Other topics include handbike-friendly cycling routes and houseboat holidays on Brandenburg’s lakes and rivers. Tourist highlights such as the Niederfinow boat lifts and the treetop walkway "Baum & Zeit" in Beelitz are also featured.

To round off the range of offerings, information on accessible public transportation options is also included.

Parts of accessible Brandenburg will be showcased at the end of June, alongside Berlin, during a familiarization trip for international participants organized by the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) focusing on accessible tourism. The spotlight will be on the Lusatian Lake District, including experiences offered by the family park at Lake Senftenberg.
